    Every year when I make my visit to my Aunt's in Idlewild, I must get the catfish from Red Rooster. I save the second fish for breakfast the next morning. It is VERY inviting to me and the owner is a great man! If you are looking for it to be hoppin like the old days, it's not... except friday and saturday nights. But the atmosphere is fun and feels historic! I haven't eaten one bad thing there try the catfish or the chicken wings!

    Eating at the Historic Red Rooster: After having driven 250 miles from Downtown Detroit to Historic Idlewild, Michigan, I guess I thought the atmosphere would be more inviting.
