    If you're a budding musician. or you have already budded, come out to the Essential Bean's Open Mic every first Friday of every month. Starting back up in September. Oh yes. The coffee is awesome!

    This is a great place to start or end your day! I love the internet access and the provided computers. As a musician, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the local musicians that frequent The Essential Bean on Fridays. It's a quick place to grab a snack and the people are so friendly you'll feel right at home!

    This place is fantastic!! As a college student, and constantly distracted by everything in my home, I seek refuge here to get my work done. The staff is friendly, the prices are low, the atmosphere is very warm and comforting, and there is free wifi. Any Davenport students up the street from this place along with any near by patrons need to visit this place!
