We had a wonderful dinner there. We had dinner out side and the entertainment was very good. We are looking forward to returning. The Best Escargo I have ever had.
I had such an exceptionally good experience that I wanted to commend you and your team. I was in late Monday night, Memorial day. The reservationist was polite and professional in letting us know that late reservation hours were based upon business. I ordered the filet charred and rare, the kitchen did an absolutely perfect job on the special request. As well with the macaroni and cheese, truly delicious. But I have high expectations so that alone would not prompt me to write a note. What was truly over the top was how professional the young lady was that served us. Examples: when approaching the table she would pause for our attention instead of blurting out, âAre you ready to orderâ like Iâve heard too many times. And, âMay I pour you some wine?â instead of going on the assumption. How refreshing. She loves what she does and it shows. Top marks all the way around, thank you.
(I had her name but Iâm racking my brain and it escapes me. Sorry. Young, dark hair, just moved to Grand Rapids...)
Went here for a friend's 80th birthday - had reservations for 27 (made over 1 week in advance), and a simplified menu (3 choices for salad/soup, 4 entrees, 2 desserts)....however, we had 1 server for all of us and dinner took 3 hours to serve!! He was unable to carry out more than 3 drinks at a time, so we all knew we were in trouble when it took 45 minutes for everyone to get their drinks...There were 7 kids under 10, one of whom (the 6 1/2 year old)got his entree 10 minutes after everyone else, and that was over 2 hours after we'd placed our orders. The server was inexperienced and really, really slow...and if he said "excellent" one more time I was about to slug him. He finished the meal by giving everyone dessert with no utensils (he had cleared them all) and then slowly passed out spoons one at a time to everyone...and ran out. I gave my spoon to the birthday lady as she was one of the 3 people without silverware - and then got to wait another 5 minutes to get my dessert spoon.. The food was excellent, but the service was ANYTHING but!!
