LOVE it!!! Very authentic, excellent food and service. I've been to Spain several times and San Chez is a true tapas restaurant that could proudly compete with any in Spain! Well done guys!
I love San Chez, it is my favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids and has been for years! I love to try new foods, and I should not that San Chez is NOT for the picky eater. It's hard to find something on the menu that would please a picky person. I love the food, it's always fresh and delicious- you get what you pay for. The somewhat high cost is adequate for the quality of food and dining experience you receive. It's a great atmosphere. Definitely is a must see if you want to try new foods or like Spanish food!
I recommend the Queso de Cabra and the Flourless chocolate cake, both are phenomenal.
I've never spent $60 at a place and left hungery, your girlfriend and her friends will love it, you'll suffer through it and grab a burger from a drive-thru on the way home.
