Terrible Service, Terrible vehicle: I bought a 2002 Landrover Freelander from this dealer. Transmission broken at 52000 miles, not covered by warranty. When vehicle broke down service department wasn't helpful, and when I related what out-of-town service shop had diagnosed as problem service dept manager Dave said "I find that hard to believe". He offered no help in getting car back to GR and actually problem ended up being much worse than the original dianosis which he found so "hard to believe". When I went to complain to the dealer his response was "cars break". After spending money on a premium car I found that there was no service to back up the vehicle. The dealer doesn't stand by the product they sell. Basically once they had my money the service ended. I am extremely disatisfied with service and attitude of employees at Sharpe and do not recommend shopping there or buying a Landrover.
SCOUNDREL: Went with my Volvo XC 98 for a leak; Told it was the direction, cost estimated at $1 400 to fix it, $ 82.02 for diagnosis. Went to a community garage, different diagnosis, which sounds closer to reality (oil leack), cheaper fix ($700), and cheaper diagnosis. Be careful of these Sharpe guys, they are sharks.
