I was really jonesing for a really great burger so I googled "best burger in traverse city mi" and found the previous reviews and decided to check it out. Let me tell you, this place has the *best* burger in Traverse. Or anywhere, for that matter. I ordered the Mushroom Burger, which was just smothered in mushrooms and swiss - but it balanced really well with the tender (medium-well, just barely pink - perfect!) meat. All of this was piled on a really light roll, which seemed to be something they either made there or bought very fresh locally. And the fries. OH the fries. If you are in the area, do *not* miss this place! By the way, we had a pretty great server too, his name was Sean and he was super nice, helpful and our kids (2 and 4) liked him a lot. Almost forgot to add: kids eat free on Mondays, and your entire bill is 1/3 off EVERY DAY from 2:00-5:30!

I love this place too! Everything I have eaten at this restaurant has been very good. Bubba's has a "fun", sports-bar type atmosphere which is suitable for both singles and families, and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. Try the buffalo burger, which is a large beef burger dipped in buffalo wing sauce and topped with blue cheese and bacon, along with a side of their excellent fries or onion rings (which comes with a good dipping sauce). Top that off with a Bell's Oberon which is served on tap -- you can't beat it!!!
