    Hermann's European Cafe: Nice ambience. Our family went there for dessert because the owner is an accomplished pastry chef. Our party of nine was promptly served and attentively waited on. The dessert offering was extensive, all fresh and made on site. We had chocolate/kahlua mousse, bread pudding (huge servings) with vanilla sauce, peanut butter cheesecake, chocolate raspberry cheesecake, apple streudel with vanilla sauce, pumpkin cheesecake, and some sort of decadent chocolate brownie with ice cream. We all shared tastes and everyone loved every item. The portions were very generous...every dessert would have been adequate for two people. We're definitely making the 2.5 hour drive to go back.
