    carp lake is a great escape, especially coming out of atlanta, GA and if your in the area you cant miss goldies! from the ice cream parlor to the great service goldies is a paradise for people looking for a great family restaurant.

    Northern Michigans best kept secret: When visiting the Mackinaw area you can eat in the hustle and crowded areas of Mackinaw City or do what my family does every year.We plan to eat as many meals at Goldies as possible because it has every thing a family restaurant could ask for we love to sit out on the deck overlooking the lake.The kids love to down and play on the dock while their meals are being prepared.
