    best bbq ribs & dance bar in town!!: ive been to the tannery saloon steakhouse (which is now called "THE NEW TANNERY") several times and every single time i am pleased! its my favorite place to eat and party when i visit boyne. the bartenders/wait staff and also managers are so friendly and helpful which is a pretty rare find these days! the bar has a whole other dance floor including full scale bar upstairs on opposite side of restaurant. the music is blaring and you feel like youre in a ny night club! yould never know you were in an old theatre which makes it very unique! my favorites there are the bbq ribs and burgers.

    The New Tannery: The New Tannery in Boyne City is a great place to go and have a few driinks with your friends, or your significant other. The food is great and the atmosphere is inviting. Wednesday nights is Karaoke night, which is always interesting to attend. Trust me, I'm usually one of the regulars on Wednesdays. Its truely an experience to strut your stuff ocr to sit back, drink a few and watch others sing. Some good, some so-so and the others just seem to be tone deaf. But the Tannery isn't just a great place to go drink, sing, or eat, they've also got a DJ every weekend and sometimes even a live band. So whatever your interested in, the Tannery has it and once you get to know the people who work there, the time spent there is worth your while.

    On the move....: When I first moved to Boyne City I needed a bar where someone knew my name and that I like beer! That place is the Tannery! Under new management, many improvements to the menu, tap selection, and atmosphere have been made! They even have re-opened the upstairs and outside deck! So if you like a bar that "just knows your name and what you like to drink" then saddle up at the Tannery! I am sure you will be impressed!
