We've dined here since my 22 year old would slip out of his high chair for a trip to the toy box.
Kid's meals a nutritional value.
Fireplace and the Cantina with pews and stained glass from the old St. Francis church makes for cozy dining. (Garfield location)
This is clearly one of the best family restaurants in the area. I have never had a bad meal here. The staff is friendly and care about the customers. The location near the Grand Traverse mall is my favorite of the 2 in Traverse City.
Last fall we drove up to Traverse City and were pleased to find what looked like a very nice Mexican restuarant. We went in and sat at the bar. The bartender was right in front of us, and never looked up. He was having some kind of a temper trantrum slamming glasses down and so on. Still we waited. After several minutes of feeling kind of foolish being witness to this we just got up and walked out. Note to owners: Step up your service, and from what the other reviews say; hire a couple of Mexican cooks. Mexican food is known for its fresh ingrediants.
