5 STARS ALL THE WAY! Just like the ol' yummy "up north" michigan bakery and restaurants from years back! Not fancy! but We'll Be Back! we live in Ohio and grew up in Michigan, where in Gaylord Golfing The Natural and Marsh Ridge, Spent 3 days and ate at Big Buck Brewery (not as good as years past), Arlene's (ok but basic diner food), Alpine Oven (had cod fish, was good but 4 stars), WE JUST HAD GOBBLERS Perch Dinner & Smelt Dinner with Carrot Cake & Oh my goodness was it GREAT!!!!!!!!!! Cake was so yummy we left with a box of cookies from the bakery and we will hoover those tonight too probably! WOULD GIVE GOBBLERS AAAA+++++ People behind us got a burrito and it was huge! Dinner for 2 with tea/water with fish dinners and dessert was like $30 Total and box of dozen cookies for $5! You can't beat that! YUMMMMMMMMMY! the good ol MICHIGAN FISH PERCH AND SMELT! Just like Augres and Tawas fish dinners I remember! A Must Visit!!!

I stop there every time I'm heading North. I may be the exception but I've never had bad service or anything but a great meal. The prices are reasonable and they usually have a variety of specials. I'll be in Gaylord next week and I WILL stop at Gobbler's.

David if you think Mcdonalds is a great choice for dinner it tells alot about the way you live. Jenny craig is waiting to here from you! Fat camp did not work... Lard a-- If you think $7 is pricey your welfair check must have been shorted a couple of bucks.
I live in Florida and have a Vacation home in Gaylord, Gobblers has great food for very little money.
