User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsKind of neat. Order your food at the counter, off a big overhead board. Many "different" items to try. Many different coffees & drinks. Seems to have a large clientelle coming in there all the time.

User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI don't go there...: I think Penny's Kitchen is too expensive. I would not spend that much money on a sandwich. They have good coffee but there are better places in Sault Ste. Marie now. Plus they put sprouts on all their sandwiches and I'm just not a fan.

Our favorite place for lunch in SSM.: Great sandwiches, great soups, great coffee, and a great atmosphere!! What more could you ask for?? I wish they had one down here in Dearborn.

I'll have to disagree, sprouts only come on certain sandwiches. I too hate them but my husband loves them on their tuna sandwich. If you don't like them you can always order without. I also think they serve some of the best food. Their gumbo is to die for...and the chococlate mint brownies, well just treat yourself to one!
