    Barb Weber's cooking is the best in the Newberry - Curtis area. She home cooks much of the offerings. Her soups are particularly delicious. Lot's of comfort food (Swiss Steak is particularly tasty) but also some more exotic items (Basil Pesto Pasta and Bourbon Mustard Pork). The ambiance is very pleasing and host/bartender Denny is friendly and quick to take your drink orders. If you go there during the colder months there will be a cheerful fire burning in the 1920's stone fireplace. It is also smoke free.

    We visit Weber's Rustic Inn EVERY time we are in the area, at least once if not twice each visit! It truly is the best food in the area. Barb features some adventuresome dinner specials and some down-home favorites on the menu. I love the white chili and where else could you get pickled beets as one of your side dishes? Plus bread pudding is one of my favorite desserts and she had two different kinds on the menu last time I was there. My mom loves the fish fry and the chicken dinner so it's hard to get her to try anything else when we bring her out to dinner. I always try to order a dinner special for a new taste. You can't go wrong with a visit to Weber's and I recommend it to everyone I can. Call ahead to see what their hours are; it's a small mom and pop and you don't want to drive out to be disappointed.

    Weber's Rustic Inn has the best of Mom's homemade dinners around Manistique lakes. You will feel like your at home again. The bourbon mustard ribs are outstanding and don't forget to order some deep fried pickles to start with. The fresh walleye will melt in your mouth. Make sure you stop in before you leave the UP. IT is a MUST EAT!!!
