i enjoyed evey moment i really recomend this to every one out there. the rooms are so big you just cant belive it! adventureland is just a few steps away! love it so much !
We were there June 27, 2007. Two families - 4 adults and 5 children. Our families had a great time. I do agree it is time for them to do some updates. Allowing us to have our wristbands and use of the pool is a big plus with the boys. Our service was very good. Our coffee maker leaked when we took it to the desk they apologized shortly after we returned to the room a new coffee maker was delivered. Our poolside rooms were amazingly quiet. Another family is being planned for the summer of 2007.
Convenient, but not good value: My family has been here the last three years. This was definitely our worst experience. Our room, 161, smelled like vomit. We told the front desk so they sprinkled carpet fresh. The picture tube was going out on the small TV in the room so everything we watched had a green tinge. The bathroom tub would not drain. After bathing the kids we had to pry the drain plug with a pocket knife. We had an adjoining room but kept our side closed. The people on the other side had a party until after 3 am. We could hear every word they said and screamed the entire night. The staff did nothing to observe the "Bernie's Bedtime Policy" of quiet between the hours of 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. The food from the bar is ok and reasonablly priced. The trolley to the park is a nice feature, but we walked most of the time. There is a Heartland Inn across the street that is just as close (walking distance to Adventureland) and is probably cheaper.
