HORRIBLE!! We used to go fairly often, and Hereford & Hops may have been okay at one time, but now it is mediocre at best. They are going BANKRUPT and have already closed four of their locations. Food lat Friday was the WORST it has ever been. Steaks were tough and fatty; I guess this comes with cutting costs. They were over done, and the server apologized but did not offer to replace them. My wife found a bug in her potatoes; the server was again apologetic, saying they were very busy. The manager was mostly abrupt and unsympathetic, stating that "we are doing the best we can". I paid for our meals and left a nice tip for the server--but I will never come back. REST IN PEACE HEREFORD & HOPS.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsOver priced mediocre steaks. I will say that the brewery was a success, I enjoyed many of the different ales that were available.
The steaks are mediocre and if your going to order anything other than steaks good luck.. The establishment had a good vibe, the part of the dining facility that I sat in was in dyer need of an upgrade.
Overall I would say that for Escanaba it's a start as far as dining.. As for the pricing it's not worth it, unless you are having one of their fine ales. I don't understand how they can try to charge gourmet with mediocre food.

did have very good service. now i would not even give it two stars. the service is very poor. we use to be regulars in this restaurant but because of the poor service we will not go back.
