User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsObviously I went there on a "off" night. My dinner plate was full of water, don't know why but I wore it home on my pants. My son's meal had a hair on it and when I spoke to Management/Owner's obsolutely nothing was done or said other than "ok". Ok what? Not the way to treat a legitamate concern. We won't be back. Thats for sure. If thats the best in Iron River, someone needs to open a "real" Restaurant.

iron county is lucky to have alice's restaurant. as a physician fortunate enough to have lived in iron river 20 years ago, i can say that alice's stands out in my memory as one of my better dining experiences. food was always freshly prepared, elegantly served. consistency and charm were the hallmarks of alice. i have dined in manila, los angeles, san francisco, tokyo, new orleans, and chicago, but my taste buds always hark back to that quintessential cuisiniere alice tarsi.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAuthentic Italian: With all the chains around, it's refreshing to go into this restaurant. Alice's takes me back to my childhood as a little girl, going to Grandma's. The decor, the smell and the atmosphere makes me feel like I am visiting my Grandma again. The food is homemade and wonderful, and there is plenty. Most portions are large enough to share. Alice, herself, still makes the rounds during dinner, making sure your experience is a positive one! We have had almost everything on the menu from going there for so many years and we have never been disappointed. If you visit Iron River, MI, this place is a must for dinner.
