User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA little bit of everything: This cafe has the best coffee, friendliest waitstaff and most delicious diner style food in the area. The cook, James, comes up with some very interesting and tasty specialty dishes. Better than 99.9% of the cafes I frequented in Southern California. And, very affordable! A must stop for any traveler.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTasty...Tasty...Tasty: I can't believe how much I enjoyed the turkey club. I have never actually finished a deli sandwich satisfied, until I had one from Koinonia. However, even better than the taste was the price...I am still wondering how they were able to give me such a sandwich at such a price.
Aside from the Deli goods the restaurant was warm and inviting, had friendly wait staff and served some of the best coffee I have had in a long time. The Door County coffee blends are super tasty (to bring out the flavor in the flavored coffee of the day at a hint of sugar (even if you regularly don't)).
Overall the experience was a highlight of my trip up to the UP.
