User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsQuite good food, a bit scattered service. Diane had a really nice omelet and I had the cod special, which was pan friend cod and was quite good. The servers have a tough time with the tables so close together but for some reason they are often all out back and not catching that people need help. We will come back when in the area, but will make sure we have the time to wait for the servers.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHad breakfast here the week before Memorial Day. What a great find. Their sign says best food in town and they have to be right! I had a veggie omelet that was teriffic. This is also a bakery and I got a giant oatmeal raisin cookie to go. The place is decorated with clocks and local art that is available for purchase. If you are ever in Escanaba you must stop!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsNice Place.....Not So Nice Prices.: I like the ambiance of this place, and the food is excellent. However the prices seemed to me to be a bit high. Also the service could be a little better. All in all not a bad place. The only place around serving Swedish food, and quite good Swedish food at that.
The resturant has a good bakery, especially the breads. And the gifts on sale in the front are very interesting and I thought very fairly priced. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for something a little different than the usual ho-hum fare available in Escanaba. Be sure to have desert, you can`t beat them !!
