I have always had great pizza there, but do not let them know that something is not tasting right with your pizza. You will be treated like you were not telling the truth. I called to let them know that the pizza did not taste right and was asked several questions like I don't know what pizza should taste like. Did not want any free pizza, just wanted to let them know about the bad tasting pizza!!!!!!

I have been enjoying Riverside Pizzas since the 1950's. Compared to pizzas enjoyed all over the world, this is still absolutely, without question, the Gold Standard of pizzas. Since moving away from the UP many years ago, I have learned to live with a gnawing hunger for the world's best and have to settle for less than the best. I now live in Madison, Wi where many pizza establishments falsely promote themselves as the best. Where is my Riverside Pizza?? I miss you!

Riverside honestly has the best thin crust pizza I've had the pleasure of tasting...the only comparable pizza joint I've found is the Pinehurst in Indian River, MI, but only because the sauce almost mimics Riverside's. It's eerie how similar the name of these towns and taste of their pizzas is! If you've been transplanted down state, you have to try it, it could get you through a Riverside drought :)
Hands down, sausage and cheese, extra cheese is the greatest! Riverside spreads an almost impenetrable layer of perfectly spiced sausage over their pizza, mmmmmm!
