    Almost Carl's Jr.: One of the few things I miss from California is Carl’s Jr. This Hardee’s tries really hard and I appreciate the effort. Only problem being in a small community is that my favorite menu items keep getting rotated out. And some things like avocado are unheard of. I never know what’s going to be gone until I go to get it! The staff is 99% friendly. Everyone is entitled to an off day. They have a fish and chips that rivals Long John Silvers. But it too gets rotated out at times. It seems to be just a summer item. When I get the chance to visit my son in Ca., one of the first things we do is get a BBQ chicken sandwich. One of the best if not thee best. I know that Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. are under the same corporation but don’t understand the disparity on their menu selections. Lots of room for sit-down eating and the soda machines are accessible for free re-fills.
