User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat food, great service & GREAT margaritas. Every Mexican restaurant in existance always claims that they have the best margaritas & we've sampled our fair share. These guys really can back up that claim. We have been here more times than you could possibly count and have always been very well taken care of. The owner is as nice of a guy as you'll meet. Order the Chori Pollo and you'll never want to go anywhere else for Mexican food.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSalsa Anyone?: This restaurant is tucked away in the middle of a parking lot in an outbuilding. I have always forgotten it's there. Monday night I went for a late supper, and decided to try El Azteca. It was not terribly busy due to the late hour. I ordered a margarita, it was a bit on the sweet side, and the color was kind of orange instead of the usual green. I ordered the quesidilla mariachi and refried beans. My food came within minutes of ordering it. Wait staff was attentive, but not overly. The beef quesidilla was wrapped in homemade paper thin tortillas. The meet had a bit of a smokey flavor, which I found delicious. I used the salsa brought with the chips to flavor my refried beans, it was very good. The plates were hot, the food was hot, it was a good experience overall. I returned the following day for lunch. A number 8 this time, but they did not separate the beans from the quesidilla. Unfortunately this led to having soggy tortillas on the quesidilla. I will definitely dine there again, but will remember to ask for the beans on a separate plate.
