User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTHE BEST- Although somewhat lacking in atmosphere, this place is always clean and the service is always outstanding! This is A kid friendly place where both the chips and salsa are fresh and homemade. They also make an extra hot habanero salsa that we like to mix with the regular for extra kick- which is also complementary. The chili rellanos are the best I ever had and the margaritas are very reasonably priced and pack a punch! Consistantly great and CHEAP TOO- never been let down yet! We recently moved to ohio and make guadas a mandatory stop when we are in iowa-all the mexican food in ohio sucks. Can't wait to eat at Guadalajara again!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOut of every Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at, which I go to one about twice a month, this is by far the best. The food is definitely authentic, unlike most "authentic Mexican restaurants," and the service is great.

Ate here on Saturday 4/11/2009 with my family and we will NEVER eat here again. The service was terrible - our server took a phone call in the middle of us ordering our food and then proceeded to tell us about it...WE DID NOT CARE! It was rude! Even the manager was too busy to help out because he was on his phone texting. I wanted to leave, but my boys were hungry and we just sat there and took this horrible service. Then our food came and it just put an exclamation on our experience at this restaurant today...HORRIBLE! First they got my wifeâs order wrong and the server threw a fit about it that order something else when it was him that misunderstood. Everything was correct on the order but had no taste and was luke warm. Thank you for reminding me why I prefer to eat American authentic food.

We eat here quite often and have NEVER experienced bad service, or food. They are always more than willing to fuss over us. Did you have an American server or Mexican?
There is no such thing as authentic American food.
I'm a regular there and I find it hard to believe that this happened. I have never had a bad experience there. My friends and I believe this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area.
