A Great Hometown Value: If you need to build a deck, replace some windows, or just build your kids a sandbox, it pays to take a visit to Akins. With a great customer service and friendly atmosphere you'll wonder why you ever took that long drive to the city to chech out Home Depot's paint selection. With that new store expansion I heard about I'm sure the stores already impressive selection will increase tenfold. But until then it wouldn't hurt trying them out first to fufill your lumber and hardware needs. And in the offchance that you don't find that certain item your looking for, they're always more than happy to point you to a place that would have it.

Great Customer Service: Everytime I walk into Akin's, they always say hi, is there anything I can help you with today? They actually help you select the correct nails, screws, etc.
Great home town people & customer service.
