to charlies bar at 204 e main st marshalltown IA: i go to sharlies on saturday nights, they have very good karaoke singers that go there they are fun to listen to and some are funny i like the pussycat song. the people are nice and friendly, the bartenders knows everyone by name and drink if you get to much to drink they well take your car keys and take you home this is the only place i have seen this done. you can take your kids in the early part of the evening and there is no bad mouth or actions with anyone in there but the children have to be out by ten p.m. you can have pop , chips, sandwichs, or pizzas the prices are right and the food good sometimes they have potluck were anyone can bring in anything and just have a goodtime and this is for free. you should stop in some saturday evening and have fun it every other saturday.
