User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy friend Mike and I were in town from Minnesota and stopped in to find out about the local scene. We became instant friends with Frank and "Mr Iowa" along with the wrestling coach who all knew our friend Steve ("the Mayor") who had invited us to Iowa. We had so much fun with the gang there that instead of bar hop-ing, we just stayed there. Eventually, they told us about a great steak place called Jax where you can grill your own steak. So we went there for dinner and met up with our friend Steve. The Old Timer tavern had a diverse crowd of young and old, all friendly. We'll be sure to stop in the next time were in town.
