User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am a native of Des Moines, having lived but a few blocks from La Pizza House, but have resided in Phoenix, Arizona for the last forty years. My ONLY regret in leaving Des Moines is not having La Pizza House pizza. In all my years and travels, I have never found anything to compare. I can't believe they are still there! Let me find out how to place an order. If I can, I can die happy now.

It was one of the worse experience in a resartuant I have ever had.

The food is fabulous!! My family is from des moines and every time we visit we go to the pizza house. The waitresses were the same ones when my mother was a child. The people are great and the food is wonderful!!we always get a half baked to bring home so that when we entertain we can show people what real pizza is like!!! Onion rings are heavenly as well.
