The steak and shrimp is to die for, as is the shrimp diablo. The prices are high, in the $15-$30 range, but the food is definitely worth it.

Good establishment, Unique atmosphere, and it fills a good niche for cuisine in Cedar Falls. Barmuda does a fairly good job of creating restraunts that please! I highly recommend!

I have been to your restaurant twice before going back on the 20th of June. On this Friday night my belief that this restaurant was capable of providing good service and good food took a turn for the worse. I had called ahead and asked when does the restaurant closed and I was informed 11:00 and we were there by 9:00. Our server was immediately incapable and my party of four could tell right away that she might not be able to serve even water, but service is only one aspect of the dining experience that failed. One other part that failed and disgusted me beyond reasoning was the fact that there were ants crawling all around us. I didn’t notice this till half way through my meal when my sister could no long handle sitting in the booth. And there was the food. That was my biggest issue. For one the server brought the wrong dish one of the people in my party but she was not about it send it back since it had taken a hour and a half to even receive the meal. I had ordered satiated asparagus; I think they had been lightly microwaved. But that is nothing compared to my sister’s fish. Yes it was the wrong order but she was willing to try it after eating around the edges she cut the fish open only to find that it wasn’t even cooked in the center, that only thing that had been cooked were the edges. After that I proceeded to go find the manager that night to find out why is my meal inedible and why can’t anyone pour water? He did comp the meal but said we had to pay for drinks. We decided to cut our losses. The waitress was sent back the table and preceded to lecture us on why we didn’t mention there was a problem….well, miss waitress I would have informed you if you ever came back to the table. As she was leaving the table the waitress dropped a knife on the floor and then as she got closer to the stairs we heard plates fly everywhere. We paid in cash and left. We weren’t a half a block away when the waitress came barreling out after us saying ‘the meal and drinks were on us’. I thought how nice of you, you comped uncooked fish and array of bad meals all around and also drinks that were never refilled. I’m not sure how I’m suppose to feel about this experience but I’m telling everyone I know about it so they can make up their minds if they would like to have the same dining experience.
