Actually, this is about as close to a taqueria as you can get. I have lived in San Diego and spent a lot of time in Baja. La Juanita is GREAT, they care about the food, it is authentic, fresh and AWESOME. I grew up in colorado I own restaurants am a chef and know the difference between texmex and real Mexican food and they do a great job at La Juanita's !!! especially the salsa/hot sauce
