I was born and raised on these hot dogs, actually the first time I was there I was in a highchair. I now reside in Texas but will be traveling through and AM making it a point to share this historical hotdog with my son!!!!! You have the best and thanks for the great memories that have been with me for a very, very long time. Bless you all!!!! see you soon and please be sure to stock up!!!!
Unusual, you will like: Strange that a place that basically only serves hot dogs can be so strong. I suspect that most of the trade comes from a religious backing (nothing wrong with that). I particularly like the hot dogs with just chili and onions, but the almost $2 price for a pencil sized hot dog does seem excessive. No special decor except for some old Sioux City photos on the walls, essentially functional booth seating and assembly line service. Is a good place for a quick lunch
Can't wait to go back: Milwaukee Weiner House is a cool, relaxed atmoshphered, nestalgic weiner house that has some of the best chill-dogs i've eaten. I enjoy getting root beer, 7up, and Coke in the old fashioned glass bottles.
