I am strictly a slot player and have been for 10 years,.10 years ago,the place was buzzing with blinking lights,and hot action,in ALL areas,NOT NO MORE!!! Forget about Waitress staff,its almost non-existant! BUt about slot payout! Every review form Las Vegas Mirrors the same in Council Bluffs,BAD slot action,they have DEFINATELY Tightened up the slots regardless of Who might say Different.! They have done it,the numbers speak for themselves.Ive switched to mainly regular KENO in LaVista,it pays well,and has more chances to win something..
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsStill Harrahs...: Never been impressed by Harrah's and disappointed in the Horseshoe since their aquirement of the casino. It's not bad, but not good either.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHarrah's is the best of the best!: If you want to have fun and be treated with only the best service, you've got to go to Harrah's Casino in Council Bluffs, IA! Every time we go we have the best time. Our favorite thing about Harrah's is "Stir Nightclub", they have the best drinks, the best music, best dancing around, and an amazing atmosphere! The service there is top notch, when you walk in you know you will always be taken care of. It's by far the best nightclub in the area...including the Omaha area! The restaurant, Vertigo 360 located on the top floor is another favorite of ours when we go to Harrah's. Their food is so very delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date, meeting or party! Every time I've been there I've gotten the best service, and have fully enjoyed every meal. I think it's the management to thank for how awesome "Stir Nightclub" and "Vertigo 360" really are. And if you feel like winning, the casino is the best place for it. I've always had good luck at Harrah's Casino, I don't know how they do it, but they do! I always walk away feeling like a winner, and mostly because of the service they provide there. It's the best! No other casino, no other club, no other restaurant compares...Harrah's is the place to go for an amazing time! And their hotel rooms there are perfect. Always clean, always comfortable. You can feel at home here.

Well sure those areas will shine! Thats where they invest some of their profits,to make it LOOK good in areas."But for the average player,who can go into Omaha and dance,forget it! Who needs to drive 12 miles to dance and listen to live music? thats available in the Big O anywhere,,geez!
