User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI don't know about the Rancho Grande reviewed by (I believe) Shwnn, but it certainly is not the one in Carroll, IA.
I travel to the Carroll area on a frequent basis, and never fail to eat at least one meal at Rancho Grande. Service is prompt and pleasant, and they are understanding of this "gringo" who practices his Spanish on them.
Food is excellent and prices are fair. I have not had a bad experience at Rancho Grande, though some servers are better than others (as one would find in any walk of life).
I respectfully disagree with the Reviewer. Perhaps there is another agenda directing his diatribe.-

Simple, make sure there is a Vagina at your table.. These guys are perverts! if you do not have a women at your table they could give two shits about you. I live in Carroll and every time this happens I say that I will never go back, but there food is good enough that when i crave mexican, thats where i go.

This is a good place, I came home on weekend and this is where my niece wanted to eat, I LOVE Mexician food, just love it and this was on the top of my list to eat again.
