User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe cuisine is not just pizza! The NY Strips and filet mignon and other steaks and the prime rib are awesome, as are the fish entrees. The pizza is my favorite pizza, bar none. What makes it better than the chain restaurants in Omaha is that it, like Casios and the Caniglia restaurants in Omaha, has midwestern attitude -- good food and good service; repeat customers are remembered; all customers are treated with respect; and salads, potatoes and bread are NOT ala carte, but are included with the entrees!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFirst and foremost, Pizza King is probably my favorite restaurant on the planet. And I've lived in a restaurant-rich metro (Minneapolis/St. Paul) for over 15 years, and traveled extensively to my wife's homeland of Chicago, and to NYC, Seattle, and other culinarily superb cities...and while the dining experiences in those places are superb, my heart always comes back to Pizza King. Tremendous service, outstanding food, a "stuck-in-the-70s" decor that would be blasphemy for them to update...and prices that are exceptionally reasonable given everything the place has to offer. Oh...and my favorite pizza ever. Doesn't get much better than this.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I don't know who set up this listing...but Pizza King in Council Bluffs, Iowa is not in any way, shape, or form affiliated with Pizza King in Indiana. So the Website listed is not the one for PK CB. In fact, I have searched, and I do not believe PK CB even HAS a Website of its own. Just thought it worth mentioning.

I agree completely with your review: Outstanding food, my favorite pizza, reasonable prices and friendly service but I disagree with you as to whether they should update the decor. Nothing rash, just a slow, steady move toward a more modern look. I'd also like to thank you for saving me from a lengthy search for a website that doesn't exist. I guess I'll just have to stop by the restaurant and pick up a menu!
