User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI have never like this placed, but get together with family there once in awhile. The last time I was there, the food was very cold. Last time I checked a home cooked meal was supposed to be hot. The food is not homemade, you can easily tell with their chicken and pies. The food like the potatoes are also greasy as well. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you dont have taste buds.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI,m Sorry I Don,t Usualy Write Bad Or Poor Things About Places But My Wilf And I Had A Sunday Dinner At The Brick House Along With Some Friends And Family.Some Times I Know A Restaurant Can Have A Bad Day But When You Say Somthing To Them And Nothing Is Done,Like Grease Driping Off The Food Putting Very Small Servings To Be Passed Around In A Large Group.I,ll Never Go Back. There Alote Better Places To Eat In Amana. Thankyou Still Upset

Plentiful food,: Ads say the food is all homemade,and done old fashioned. I think the chicken was the pre-breaded frozen kind they deep fry, but I am not positive, it didnt' have that home done appearance or taste. First time here, the advertisement says desserts are homemade, but I was disappointed to see the cherry pie filling is canned. The crust was questionable as to it's being homemade. I was disappointed in that.

crust is not homemade pie filling is out of a can dirty dishes are put into bus tubs and leftover food is carryed back to kitchen on trays to be sent out to next table corn, pickled ham, bread always stale or hard, cottage cheese, butter they are the only restaurant in amana that does this ask where that stuff goes the will roll thier eyes t you stupid
