User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely the best and biggest burger we have ever eaten. This ia a great place with friendly staff. They are a destination for lots of Harley Davidson Riders. The location is in the middle of Northeast Iowa on a hill the ride to the Shanti is beautiful and part of the experience. Northeast Iowa is the best of Iowa, bluffs and winding roads through the beautiful scenery that is IOWA!!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI think this is the right place: This is one of those places in the middle of nowhere that is an absolute gem! You have to try the Gunder burger and you will actually wish you lived in Iowa. The restaurant is a total shack (hence the name), but the service and ambiance are perfect. **Update** I just visited this restaurant this weekend and it has been remodeled. It's a bit nicer and more family friendly.
