User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsStoney Creek Inn: In Waukon Ia. I found this really well kept Hotel. In a good location. The Stoney Creek Inn made it worth all the while for me to excape into a world of fantacy. I felt like I was in a cozy cabin mountain getaway resort. The General manager (Patricia Sands) was very helpful and friendly. This Inn was filled with warmth and invite. Very very clean! Service was outstanding. My room fantastic and quiet! I did not want to leave after staying two days there. The Complimentary continetal breakfast great ! The pool area clean and charming (fun) in the winter time, The water was heated and nice. Swimming from inside to the outside area while in nice warm water haveing snow flakes fall from the sky. I truely forgot I was in Iowa and felt more like I was in the mountians in a secret heated springs. I felt so revived. I got to go back again soon and enjoy that environment again. Thank you, Stoney creek inn for a wonderful privilage to stay at your Inn!
