Applebee's Neighborhood Grill

My wife and I received absolutely the worst service at this restaurant. We had a very horrible experience with a manager that identified herself as "Barb". We were amazed at the disregard this staff shows to it's customers. I will never eat in this establishment again, and I hope that you will think twice before giving these people a dime of your hard earned money.

It is probably like a lot of places. . . . .depends on when you dine. The last time I had a meal here it was great, friendly staff, efficient, great food, fun. . . .just like the commercials.

This is by far the worst Applebee's I have vistited. I was appalled at how dirty the restaurant actually was, it was as though they hadn't cleaned in days. We stood waiting in the doorway for about 4 or 5 minutes, while about seven employees were gathered around the bar. Finally when one walked up to us, she gave us a rude look then walked us to our table. I sat down in something sticky, which was absolutely disgusting, since I didn't have the slightest idea what it was. On top of that, our table was filthy and there were two dead flies in the window. When our server came up to the table, I asked to be relocated. Once we got to a different table, I was hoping things would start going better. To say the least, it didnt. Our server was rushing us the entire time; she asked if we were ready to order, we weren't, so she told us to "take our time." Well i'm not sure how we could do that when she was back up at our table three minutes later. My husband and I both ordered drinks from the bar, and though they were made promptly by the bartender, they sat on the edge of the bar for about 5 minutes before someone delivered them. Our server took our order and I must say, my husband and I were quite impressed when she didn't write it down; that is untill she returned to our table after a few minutes and asked my husband which steak he wanted because "she forgot, whoops!" Our food came out somewhat quickly after that point, but my husbands medium-rare steak was more or less burnt, my mashed potatoes were cold, my vegitables were crunchy--not steamed like the menu suggested, and to put the icing on the cake, there was a hair--yes I said it, a hair, on my smothered chicken. I cannot stress enough how horrible this Applebee's was! I will never return, my family and friends will not be returning, and hopefully word of mouth will help others to avoid such an awful experience.
