I am a citizen of Camanche, Iowa. I have seen a huge change in our Food Pride Store. Since a young man named Alex took over this store, the entire place is brighter and cleaner. No longer is there the horrible smell in the building. I do hope that the citizens of Camanche will give this store the business it deserves as we need to keep the store here. I will now shop there more than I did before as I find it a joy to do so.We need to patronize the store and be proud that we have it in our community. The young owner is very friendly and said he welcomes andy suggestions or problems any consumer may have. Let's now show PRIDE in our Food Pride!

I think the store has cleaned up considerably. I think the new owners are very nice and friendly. The only outdated material is always at a reduced price. All Stores do that! Saying that they shut the coolers off at night is utterly ridiculous. I have purchased frozen food there and have never had any food that was frozen and thawed. I have used my debit card daily and never been over charged. They use a hand entered system which you can make mistakes on. I have one of these at my business and are complicated to run. I was overcharged by accident when Steve owned it and credited back my money. Camanche is a very malicious community and I believe that some of this is because they are from India!!! Alex updated the scanning system so all the products are in it. When Steve owned it the staff never knew what the products cost. How do you know you were not overcharged when everyone was guessing at the price. With an accurate receipt I am sure Alex would correct any mistakes. If Camanche looses this store All the town drunks are going to have to drive to Clinton and get there condiments for partying. The Camanche police will sit by the overpass and pluck them off like flies

This store by far has the most disgusting meat department i have ever seen in my life. At the time I had heard rumors so I went to see for myself and was amazed that they hadnt been shut down by now by the health department!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
