User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love it!!!: To me butler skatin rink is always hype and fun. Thier security is excellent by helpin' you get up and on the floor. l think little kids from the age of 7 and down shouldn't be allowed to skate beacuse its crowed and they could get ran over by skaters over their age.I would go back to butler any day I could beacuse its that fun and hype all the time.

Wonderful Establishment,Atmosphere and Music: Butler skateland is a wonderful establishment for skating. Mostly the music is for urban youth. There are some children that go there and use profane language but most of the skateres are good kids. On saturdays you will find the rink to be crowded and geared more to the urban crowd. On thursdays it is less crowded and you will find less urban music.Also on saturdays you will find tightened security so if you're not up for being patted down I suggest you go on saturdays. Overall Butler is nice including the rink and service. I hope you find Butler to be a great find.

WHERE ARE THE OLDER SKATERS?: If you like a (fairly) large wood skate floor, with lots of kids, this is the place for you. This rink has 2 adults sessions, but the music is geared toward an age group of 25 and younger. I have been here with my children, and let me tell you there are lots of kids at these sessions. There's probably 98% kids and 2% parents. Most adults just drop their kids off, and pick them up later. As for the adult sessions, most of the older skaters come as early as possible. about 90 mins after these sessions starts the music is mainly Top 40 and Rap music. So older skaters: enjoy and good luck
