Ponderosa

If there's a Ponderosa in Heaven, it must be run by the folks that own the Hartford Ponderosa. You haven't experienced Ponderosa until you've tried this one. I've never been to a Ponderosa that is so clean. The buffet is immaculate and always full, even on busy nights (which are most nights). The hot food is piping hot and the cold food is perfectly chilled. The staff is friendly and always attentive. I have never had a bad experience at the Hartford Ponderosa. It sets the standard for all Ponderosa franchises.

We've been regulars at this Ponderosa for many years. It's uncanny how one restuarant in a chain of "similar" retaurants can be so far superior to the others. Another local Ponderosa in a larger town recently closed as they had the opposite reputation. The Hartford Ponderosa is always busy, the food is fresh, and their recent expansion almost doubled the variety on their buffet. This restaurant as almost always busy and is well-known in the area as a superior Ponderosa. We always look forward to our experience there.

Best Ponderosa we've been to in a long time. Everything was fresh, & their meatloaf, chicken, breads, & desserts were excellent. Tried their sirloin tips & they were good. Staff was very friendly. We'll go back.
