If you have never been here you do not know what you are missing so give it atry while they are open.. the best part is the carhops

I used to go here all the time when I was a kid, and now that I have one of my own, when I return to Wisconsin, I will always make sure to stop by for the worlds best onion rings, and give my son new memories of his own!!

I have been a customer since I was a Sophomore in High School. My memories of my Oconomowoc High School years and dating are still with me. I graduated in 1977! Now, I am married and have adult children of my own and we continue to take that ..."back in time" experience to visit "The KILTIE" together. My kids now also have... their "KILTIE" memories of their own. They bring friends from all over with them in coming "HOME" to visit Oconomowoc and make a special stop to eat there.
It is the 50's "back-flash of time revisited" with car hops and music and gathering of friends of all ages. Mind you.... the skirts are crawling way too high and we need to get it back down with the old fashioned poodle skirts and saddle shoes to keep the old fashioned "FEELING" and memories of that "50's era" going there and keep that alive in "ALL AGED HEARTS!."
The food is STILL FANTASTIC but...prices could be cheaper and bring in more of a successful open time/profit in the end. "Twosomes" are my favorite along with their onion rings. You gotta try it!!!!!
Drew... consider lower prices... season open time.... and you will bring in the crowds better! You have a FANTASTIC business in your open times...get back to the "old time" business prices. You provide it... they will come!
KILTIE is truely worth a one time stop if anything! You will never forget the food, time, atmosphere that the Kiltle will give you! OHHHH try the sundaes too! TURELY a CUSTARD treat with fresh fruit... not that fake gell uck! Fresh STRAWBERRIES, RASPBERRIES and so on. Yummy!
