The first time we went (about a year ago), it was good but not great, the servers were all nice and the ambience met expectations. The second time around, during the day, the wait was only 10 minutes and the food was INCREDIBLE.
Not impressed at all. Was there once about 5 years ago and now I know why I never went back. The salad was just disgusting. The lettuce had a sour taste to it and the ranch dressing had no taste to it at all. It was extremely busy so thank goodness we called ahead for seating. We still waited 45 munutes once we got there after were told it would 15-20 minutes. We were seated in the bar area and had people staring at us the whole time we were eating. It was so packed that one guy kept putting his arm on our table. Will not be going back there-ever!
The food was excellent and is always.Have always called ahead but left saturday without the #.
When coming in with a party of 8 at about 3:45 we were given a lecture on this being a large party and because we did not call ahead if it would have been
later we would have a two hour wait. First of all we are all senior citizens and all workedand still do work with the public, never ever would our jobs put up with us having a attitude like that young hostess had. Then we were stuck in a 6 person booth with a table on the end when asked to move to the 6 person table nd the small booth next to it for the eight of us becausewe were very uncomfortable we were told
those 2 tables in our area were RESERVED. Let me tell
you how irrated we all were. The other end of the restaurant was almost empty so why not accomodate your guest. First of all a couple of times I have tried to make reservations we were told that you don't do that just the call ahead.Anyway I felt very bad for a waitress because she was trying to get
us a better table but your little blonde hostess would not budge. When asked to talk to a supervisor
he came to our table, could see how irritated we were
and how cramped we were I believe his name was Dave
he said he would talk to her, which he did.He came back to show us a sheet of paper that had only one line on it for a party of 9 which supposedley they
were saving those tables for, but a funny thing happened one table was taken with a group of 4 for a table of 6 about 10 minutes after we asked to be moved the other table was still empty when we left.
When the supervisor was coming around to talk to us
your Hostess turned around to give me or all of us dirty looks, when I told him about it he said there
was a board she had to turn around and look at, when
the other people at our table told him that that is not what she was doing again he said he would talk to her BIG DEAL!! She should have been sent home, and made to apologize for her attitude. We do come in
to eat at your restaurant at least once a month with
a large party, but with all that happened I doubt we will be back anytime soon. Oh,also when the salads
came out I was told there was a problem with the French dressing and my salad would be out shortly.
1 other person at the table also had French and got his salad. Guess what? I had to ask for my salad 15min. later when the food was alreay coming out. coinicidence? I believe not. This was absolutley a very frustrating experience for all of us. We had a great day up to that point and all we wanted was to have a great meal with great friends but it was
impossible to do thanks to your employees who do not
know the saying. The Customer is always right. Treat
them with respect because they are paying your salary. The 8 of us all work in the medical field with
the public all the times and were all stunned at the service. We weren't even offered a appetizer or drink for all our inconvience. When we were getting ready to leave another supervisor gave us
peanuts with call ahead cards & a free appetizer by
a differnet supervisor, I believe she and our lovely
waitress did try to make you look better but it
was too little to late. This was the 1st bad experience we had but it left a very bad lasting impressions. You might need to train your hostesses.
Especially on how to seat a group of older people. Just to let you know the other booth in our area was
also cramped also 7 people 2 with walkers and yes
older individuals. The 8 people with us feel this was
a form of discrimination. If at the time the restaurant was busy that would be a different story
but it was not and no need for any of this to happen.

wow really. u need to chill out. i go to this restaurant all the time and they are all amazing. granted the hostesses r mostly young girls...the way u just spoke of the restaurant is dispicable. and im sure there were reasons why the things that happened. happened. give it a break.
The seniors who reviewed Texas Roadhouse above, deserved an apology and should have been moved immediately. For every person who takes the time to write a review, there are at least 20 people with a similar experience who did not write a review. The management should immediately take a look at the review and fire the blond hostess or at least put her on probation. Especially in bad economic times, it is not wise to insult customers. Things go wrong from time to time everywhere. But wise business people know that a smile, an apology, and an effort to correct the problem goes a long way in building customer loyalty - which in the end can make or break a business.
