We saw Steely Dan on Saturday Nov. 14th '09 and the show was flawlwss!! We parked on the street a block from the Riverside and went to Mo's for a couple of cold ones. When we got to the theatre we were ushered into our seats and we got settled in. We were in the back off to the side by the third floor. We had super clean rest rooms a short walk from our seats and a well stocked bar the same distance.Everyone that we came across that worked at the theatre was helpful and polite. This was a very nice experiance and we loved the classic old theatre. Thank you to all the great folks at the Riverside!!! Super Job. John and Kim
Seen The Black Crowes a couple days ago. Great Show. Used the men's bathroom and toilet was plugged and water on the floor. No toilet paper and luckily looked before I sat down and grabbed some hand towels. Close one
Thank You Yahoo Reviews! You are one of the only online websites to allow True and Honest Reviews of venues!
Yelp Reviews deletes each and every single comment that is not positive for any establishment, and then sell the them advertisement so they take down any valid negative comments about them (even when they are the truth).
The Riverside is a Total Joke n Scam. No wonder people do not recommend this place for kids. Reading all the concerns about this venue, and all my personal experiences I have seen with them, believe them Milwaukee! They fool most people, but not for those that us who work for them, or our regular customers, know these comments are correct.
If upper Riverside employees decide we need tickets for our family or friends for just about any show, all we do is decide what seats we want to give them, and we just unexpectedly cancel the original purchasers tickets, and resell the exact same seats (with new valid bar codes) to them! Then when the original people come in, their tickets will not scan. We then quietly tell them their was a "computer issue" and we give them other seats; not as good as they had. Shhhhh.... No one was suppose to know we do this, until now, that is. Isn't this a great little scam we have going Milwaukee? Connections gets you anything here and at the Pabst! You have been informed... And whoever posted about the Ticketmaster not handling our tickets, now you know why we don't use them because we could not do this any more.... And Milwaukee thinks we're honest....
