User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWas it real or just a dream?: On a chilly Friday evening we took the bus and then hiked to this cozy lounge and were so glad - it was as described with swank booths, warm service, and low red lighting accompanied by Deano and Frank. The Tiki Love Bowl for two (big, tasty, and aflame) saw us back to our hotel hand in hand in love! Perfect!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPerfect Date Spot: You will almost miss the spot on the corner as it looks like a regular home. You enter through the door and take a step back in time. The music takes you back to the days that the Rat Pack was popular. The lighting is perfect for rendevous and close encounters. The menu is full of POTENT ice cream and frozen drinks. The quirky waitresses provide great service.
If you are with the one you love, like, or lust....the perfect drink to have is a TIKI Bowl, where they bring you two straws a punch bowl sized concoction of alcoholic delight...lol-It is a fruity frozen drink that has 151 proof rum in the middle that is set on fire....hence the TIKI Bowl.
The claim is that if you are not in love before this drink....you will be after drinking it. Perfect place to show someone from out of town, a date, a secret affair (but when they first open, about 7pm---or during weekdays), or someone you wish to get to know better. It is a place to hit before a dinner, movie, or home.
THEY DO NOT SERVE FOOD......so eat first or eat soon! Drink and Drive Responsibily:-)
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsat random... no its not a cruising spot: all i can say is you got to see it to believe it. the most viscous, surreal trip back to the 50s ever. i'm always on the look out for one of the rat pack's wandering disembodied souls. the old school staff is a blast to watch, and with a large menu of ice cream, blended and tiki-style cocktails, how can you go wrong? if i were a pimp this is where i'd hang out.
