User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAfrican Hut is the PLACE: I and a long life friend Andres, dine at the African Hut and it is now our place to go for "real soul fulfilling" food. I recommend it highly to all who has "good" taste.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA delicious safari..: African Hut is an amazing place. You walk in and feel like you are welcome, the people were wonderful and inviting. The decor is perfect, leopard spots on the wall, zebra prints and animal pictures grace the walls. I loved just looking around and feeling like I am sitting in somone's hut in Africa.
The food is something I can't even explain, it's that good. I took one bite and I was blown away. I tried my friend's and hers was just as savory. They have a lot of vegetarian dishes there and even a few vegan ones since a lot of their food consists of beans and leafy greens.
The cost is mildly high, plan to bring a nice chunk of money because food that good can't come cheap.
It's a good place to go on a weekend, it's not very crowded so a meeting could be held there, and it would be nice to take someone there for a first date. The service is a bit slow but I think that's just the african way...laid back and chill. The palate must be experienced for this place, so children may not be thrilled to eat here. If your kids are used to exotic dining though...then by all means bring 'em on in.
