I had a great experience when I went with a group last year after a show at the Bradley Center, so we decided to do it all over again this year. We planned ahead and made reservations this time, as last year there was over an hour wait before we were ever seated. Well, they lost our reservation so we ended up having to wait anyway. The food was good, but the portion sizes for their specialty items were extremely small. $13 for 6 (small) raviolis is pretty steep, and it didn't even fill me up. So I ordered a slice of cheese cake for dessert. A sliver costs $6. They didn't have a blender to make frozen beverages and the temperature in the restaurant was very uncomfortably hot (just as it was last year). I felt bad for the wait staff (who, by the way, were wonderful). Next year we will be taking our dinner party elsewhere.

Every visit to Milwaukee: When my husband and I go to Milwaukee for any reason we always make it a point to have either lunch or dinner at Turners. The staff is always friendly and the food is excellent. I am the kind of person who will not eat in a restaurant if I think it is dirty so I always check out the restrooms. Great way to judge the cleanliness of any place. I don't check Turner any longer. Don't feel the need to. They have always been great.

The bathrooms weren't very tidy at my last visit. The waste bin was over-flowing all over the floor and there was graffiti on the walls of the stalls.

You simply are not a Milwaukeean unless you visit: I like the potato pancakes and the ambiance is soooo utterly early Milwaukee German through and through. You feel like you are stepping into history. Do visit the ballroom, if it's open.
