| About: | For Over 30 Years, Barbiere's has been serving the best Pizza, Lasagna, Meatballs, Garlic Bread, Sauces & Salads, all homemade. * Smoke Free Dining or Carry Out Founded in 1963 by Sal Barbiere, Barbiere's Italian Inn has been a staple of Bluemound ever since. In 1973 Barbiere's moves from 106th & Bluemound to its current location 59th & Bluemound. Sal becomes partners with his son Steve and then hires 15-year-old Mark Dempsey as a pizza maker. In 1975, Dempsey graduates from high school and learns from Sal how to roll bread, make meatballs, sauces, sausages, etc. In 1979 due to health reasons Sal steps away and turns business over to Steve. In 1997 Steve sells Barbiere's to now 24-year veteran Mark Dempsey. Mark's goal is to uphold Barbiere's great name and reputation, which Sal started, and Steve continued for many years to come. Our favorite compliment is that nothing has changed through the years. We encourage all feed back from our customers positive or negative in order to maintain the highest possible quality service. |

first the garlic bread is way to greasy, and the sauce has a tart taste i ordered to go and only ate one piece would not eat again not even for free.
This place has some of the best Pizza that I have ever had. Some how the owners have been able to keep the same great taste throught the twenty plus years I have been going there. I love it!!!!
If you know the Billy Joel song "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" then Barbiere's Italian Inn is THAT place. Warm, cozy and intimate, especially on a cold, dark, wintry night; it exhudes perfect Italian atmosphere. My wife and I went there often when we were dating and long after we were married but hadn't been back in more than several years. We recently returned to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the food was exactly the same. The best Italian food in the city of Milwaukee. The pizza, lasagna and especially the garlic bread are all to die for.
