I wanted to take the time here to quickly acknowledge the wonderful experiences I've had at Cody and Company over the past two years. I really feel like we do not take the time enough to acknowledge a job well done! There is so much bad customer service unfortunately, but you will not find that at this salon! I moved to the Milwaukee area to come to college and had to leave behind the salon I went to in my hometown...which was only so-so. I have lived in the Milwaukee area for 12 years now. I have gone to Cody and Co. for the past 2 years. I had 10 years of mediocre (and often times TERRIBLE) experiences at salons and with my hair when first moving to the Milwaukee area. I went from place to place and no one ever seemed to listen to me or know what to do with my hair. (I have a darker ash brown hair and wanted vibrant blond highlights and a layered cut...not incredibly difficult). Anyway, I researched on line one day and kept coming back to the same place...Cody and Co. Salon. I read some wonderful reviews (and some not so great as you can read here). I decided to give this salon a try. I am sooo happy that I did. From my first appointment to my current a few weeks ago (2 years of haircuts and highlights each time), I have NEVER had a bad experience. I go to Katie, and she does an AMAZING job. She listens to me every time and knows exactly what I am looking for. She is fun and very polite. I know that many people have mentioned that this salon is expensive. I will admit that it more expensive than going to a lower level salon (Cost Cutters) or other more middle level salons, but you get what you pay for! I learned that the hard way (way too many times!). Cody and Co. is very comparable in price to other salons which strive for and guarantee the same wonderful results. I wanted to take the time to write this review because I only chose this salon originally due to reading what other people had to say (by reading reviews like this). I guess I wanted to add in my two cents! Wonderful, fantastic, excellent experience! I am staying home with my young twins (as I am an educator), so right now we do not have a ton of extra disposable income. My point is that, even considering this, I save up between each appointment so that I can go back for GUARANTEED satisfied and happy resutls. I constantly get compliments on my hair. Katie does such a fantastic job. She really knows what she is doing. It appears that all of the stylists do! I would highly recommend Cody and Co. I know I am someone who really cares about what I look like...call it vain or whatever you would like, but I know I am not the only one out there! Check out Cody and Co. for guaranteed, excellent results! I am just so happy to not have to deal with terrible color jobs and awful haircuts anymore...EVER!
HORRIBLE EXPENSIVE HAIRCUT!! I saw "Stylist" look away while talking to someone---all the while CHOPPING my long hair. I saw her in mirror--I thought what is she doing? I got home and even my neighbors commented how uneven it was. I had to go to another salon to have MORE cut off to fix it. How can their "Stylists" cut hair while not even looking at it? Owner of this Salon was very nasty and rude to me. BEWARE!!!!!!!
Ha Ha! Linda, just read your 'commentary'. You go girl! Having been a client for many years I think I'm qualified to 'give the facts'. Great place, great staff, great location, great building, great decorating (always love the changes)and most importantly, great customers! -MJ

This gets to be really annoying when people put false information online and I have to defend myself and my salon. This couldn't have happened as I, the owner of Cody and Company, first and foremost would never be 'rude and nasty' to anyone and second didn't have any 'business' interaction with anyone (including my staff) during the entire month of August- or most of the summer for that matter, as I got married on August 8th was obviously very busy. Furthermore, I was not even in Wisconsin much less in the salon during that time as I was on my honeymoon! This is actually a great time to thank my wonderful staff for handling the salon in an incredibly professional and efficient way this past summer! Thank you- I couldn't have gotten through it without all of you. (The ony thing we have to BEWARE of is people who don't, for whatever reasons, have anything better to do than to get online and do things like this.) Thank you girls! You continue to be the BEST!!!
Yes you were rude and nasty to me. This happened 2 years ago. I do have better things to do. I just think people should be aware of getting a horrible haircut from your salon. Plus be charged a high price for it. If you have any memory---you should remember how you treated me. You're horrible LINDA
