Going here was the MOST MISERABLE experience I have ever had. The doctor was COMPLETELY unprofessional and downright extremely rude, impatient, and unwilling to listen. After entering the room, she questioned me with her back to me the entire time, never once looking at me. She continually interrupted my questions and even put her hand up to quiet me. UNBELIEVABLE! I went here because it was close to my house, and I was leaving town on vacation and wanted the piece of mind that I didn't have any h1n1 symptoms. Apparently the CDC informed this urgent care sight five days before my visit that the state would only run h1n1 tests if you met certain criteria. No one in the office new about this, and being a patient, I didn't feel it was my responsibility to be current on CDC regulations. I was bluntly told by the doctor, with NO EXPLANATION that, "because you came in at 5:45 it was too late to run your test. It is our office policy to not send the test. You have to go somewhere else." I was very unclear as to what she was trying to explain and when I tried to ask for understanding, she began shouting at me, "Go and look at the CDC, go look it up!" So I called back and spoke with the receptionist/biller/nurse (?) who actually let me ask my complete question and explained what had happened. Still unacceptable! If the CDC informs clinics of new guidelines for testing, shouldn't it be the clinic's PROFESSIONAL responsibility to convey this to their patients? Waiting and being treated like a second class citizen was extremely unpleasant and I will never return. Not to mention a complete waste of time! I was concerned about my daughter (2) and son's (5 months) exposure to my suspected h1n1 symptoms, and the doctor actually said, "well you're children aren't here now are they, I'm not talking about your kids, I'm talking about you!" Unbelievable, I was a concerned patient, asking for a professional opinion. I felt like I was scolded and dismissed without any bedside manner. Unless you enjoy being jerked around and left with nothing, do not go here! Drive a few more miles and get quality care with professional, intelligent, current, established doctors who actually care enough to even fake it!
