What a place! Great food, cold beer, friendly people, and WOW (the bartenders have great personalities) and a couple cuties!!! They have karaoke every other month, always a good time! A meat raffle every month. Horse shoe pits in the back. Awesome place to socialize and make new friends. See ya down there sometime!

The burgers are too big! Delicious, but could only finish half. Quite an array of clientele, seems as though it can be different on any given day. The more I frequent the more I feel like "family". All-in-all, good food + good juke box + pool table + cold beer = good time.

Paoli Pub is the quintessential rural Wisconsin bar; an institution quickly fading from the landscape of our state. On any given day you can find farmers playing a game of Euchre, college students listening to the juke box, girlfriends getting together for a cocktail after work, or just some anonymous guy eating a Pub Burger and fries for lunch. Did I mention the burgers are huge? And they are arguably the best burgers you will find anywhere within a 50 mile radius of Madison.

I usually stop after the Badger football games as I am passing through this small, unassuming Madison and Verona area town. The owners (Al & Wanda) are very friendly, the food is always delicious, and you gotta love any place that has ice cold Spotted Cow and Fat Squirrel on tap and many other flavors of New Glarus Brewing Company beer in back.

Someone said below, "It seems like a fun place to be--but the regulars are pretty teritorial."

I think that pretty much describes every neighborhood bar in America, which is appropriate, because that is what Paoli Pub is...only with much better burgers and colder beer!
