    Very nice atmosphere, could use some remodeling. Service was pleaseant, food good. Highly overpriced though, that's my only reason for not giving it 5 stars. Be prepared to pay over $20 per entree.

    Wonderful food! Prime rib was very tender and flavorful. Halibut over Bruchette was firm and mild. Onion soup was dark, hearty and covered with cheese. Cherry cheesecake was OK but the chocolate peanutbutter pie was rich and creamy with an intense peanutbutter flavor and covered with chocolate. Meal was well paced and the server was attentive. The resturant could use some redecorating and with the beautiful view, it needs some expansive windows instead of the small square ones that are there now. Also with a fine dining menu and prices, white tablecloths instead of white paper mats should be used.

    A treasure that is off the beaten path: What a great experience it is to go to the Buckhorn. From the moment you get there you feel like family. The food is outstanding, so are the chocolate martinis. My husband and I enjoy the shrimp appetizer, and the deep fried bluegill or the filet for dinner.
    Best service in the area, and the Lake view is georgous. I highly recomend the Buckhorn.
